During this course, you will learn and experiment the infinite possibilities of watercolor technique. You will practice the precision needed to achieve fine details and experiment mixing other materials like Indian ink or salt. During the process, you will practice the precision but also discover how to accept and take advantage of the unexpected effects and mistakes of this technique.
With the help of our artist, in a creative and captivating way you will get to know and learn the essential techniques through a diversified program.
The PROGRAM is divided into 4 sessions lasting 2.5 hours each:
1 - In the first session, you will get to know the materials used in watercolor technique such as brushes, paper, and other accessories. You will learn how to bring the paint saturation from level 0 to 5 by creating two beautiful landscapes.
2 - To give rise to the imagination you will create your own composition. You will paint a colourful woman silhouette with colourful flower patterns.
3 - This session consists of the study of three-dimensionality. Starting from a photographic reference, you will paint an animal exploring the colors, lights, and shadows. Through the various techniques and color mixing you will learn how to represent space and depth.
4 - During this lesson you will explore the different possibilities that you can achieve by mixing watercolor with other “liquids” and materials. With these experiences the possibilities are endless for your future artworks. As a final project you will create a magic galaxy!
After learning the methods, the tricks, and the ways to apply them in the different styles of painting, you will have the opportunity to explore your own ideas without any help!
No previous experience in illustration or painting is necessary. Beginners and experienced artists are welcome!
All materials that you need for this course are included.
We offer a cup of tea or coffee! Small snacks and a glass of wine are also available.
